Tips for visiting Angkor Wat

Many traveler don't wanna miss the sunrise at Angkor Wat. the atmosphere is breathtaking at this time. However, in the early morning hours is the biggest crowd at the temples, it becomes more relaxed in the afternoon and in the evening.

Already from the outside is Angkor Wat magnificently. The interior of the temple can be visited as well. Please note that shoulders and knee-covering clothing should be worn. In short clothes it is not allowed to enter the holy temple.

Getting around in Angkor

For the visit to the temple, most visitors choose to take a tuk tuk (motorcycle rickshaw) to rent for a whole day. The driver will take you to the desired temples and waits until you've completed the tour. Alternatively and more environmentally friendly you can also rent a bicycle.
